Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to be road-test ready?
Most beginners need 6–12 sessions depending on confidence, traffic complexity, and practice outside lessons. Our Readiness estimator on the homepage can help you set expectations.
Do you teach manual transmission?
Yes. Our manual courses focus on clutch control, hill starts, rev matching, and stall recovery. Check the “Manual” category in the catalog.
Can I use your car for the road test?
In select locations, yes. We provide a dual-control, test-compliant vehicle with pre-test warmup. Availability is shown on relevant Test Prep courses.
Are online lessons effective for beginners?
Online modules build theory: rules, hazard patterns, and mental checklists. Practical control still requires in-car training, which we schedule after you complete theory checkpoints.
What if I have driving anxiety?
We use calm coaching, predictable routes, and paced exposure. You set the threshold; instructors are trained to pause, debrief, and adapt without pressure.
How are instructors vetted?
Multi-step vetting includes license verification, background checks, shadow lessons, and ongoing ride-alongs with feedback reviews.
Do you offer insurance discount certificates?
Some insurers recognize our Defensive Driving courses. We provide completion documentation you can submit to your provider. Discounts are subject to insurer policies.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can reschedule up to 24 hours before a session without penalty. Late cancellations may incur a fee to cover instructor time and vehicle allocation.
